WHO WE WORK WITH

Inclusion is built together.

Our work connects persons with disabilities, families, faith communities, organizations and the wider community. We help create environments where participation, dignity and belonging become part of everyday life.

01
Persons with Disabilities & Families
Walking alongside persons with disabilities, caregivers and families through learning, empowerment, community and opportunities for meaningful participation.
02
Churches & Faith Communities
Equipping churches and parachurch organizations to move beyond welcome toward genuine belonging, discipleship, participation and co-laboring.
03
Corporates & Organizations
Helping workplaces, programs and services become more accessible, inclusive and responsive to the skills, experiences and needs of persons with disabilities.
OUR GUIDING VALUES
3D
Approach
OUR WAY OF WORKING

Inclusion should touch the whole person and the whole community.

Our 3D Approach shapes how we understand disability and how we work alongside persons with disabilities, families, faith communities, organizations and the wider community.

01
Dignity
We affirm the God-given worth of every person. Persons with disabilities are not to be pitied but celebrated as individuals with purpose, potential, and a vital place in community life.

02
Deep Inclusion
We work to embed accessibility and belonging in the very fabric of families, faith communities, organizations, and the broader community, creating systems that last and transform lives.
03
Dynamic Wholeness
We believe in holistic empowerment that touches every part of a person's life. We nurture all domains of a person; Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Spiritual, Economic, Social/Relational, and Dignity/Purpose, walking with caregivers and persons with disabilities on a journey of hope, healing, and belonging.

THE ABILITY BAND

The stage is
for everyone.

The Ability Band is an initiative of Africa Ability Trust made up of talented musicians and vocalists with different types of disabilities. Together, they use their gifts to create inspiring experiences while challenging assumptions about disability.

Persons with disabilities are not simply people to be ministered to or supported. They are gifted people who can create, lead, serve and contribute.

The band performs in churches, corporate events and community spaces while creating opportunities for members to grow spiritually, socially, professionally and economically.

SOCIAL ENTERPRISE

AMAI
Collection.

AMAI, which is a word from the Shona language (in Africa) meaning "Mother," was chosen to capture the unwavering dedication, the unyielding strength, the tender care, and the vibrant artistry of our makers (parents and guardians) of persons with disabilities (PWDs).

When you hold an AMAI bag, you are holding the resilience, dedication, and artistry of a mother working to provide both lasting stability and essential care for the persons with disabilities (PWDs) in their family.
